Background - Greg has almost 30 years of design expertise within the broad field of design for print, encompassing annual reports, brochures, catalogues, conference materials, brand development, corporate identity implementation & rollout, direct mail & mail fulfilment, exhibition design, promotional merchandising, point-of- purchase, product & corporate literature and design project management.

Special Attributes - Getting to know a clients requirements and delivering creative solutions that work...

Loves - Electronic music - classic 70s thru to the present - also composing and recording own music, playing the bass guitar, rock climbing, walking mountains, photography.

Dislikes - Reality TV programmes, wheat (I’m intolerant), cats (I’m allergic!).

Greg previously held the position of Head of Creative Services at Newsquest North East, publishers of The Northern Echo, and has held creative design and design management positions in Coventry, Leicester, London and Middlesbrough.

His design and management experience encompasses projects locally, regionally, nationally and internationally, within the private, public and non-profit sectors, with strong experience in working across the annual cycles of organisations, working in partnership with marketing/ communication departments, associates and all stakeholders to ensure all projects are completed on deadline, to budget.

Greg was until recently a long-standing member of the Media and Journalism Task Group at Darlington College, advising on courses and professional practice. He recently served as the industry assessor for 3 new BA Media courses validated for Teesside University.

He is fully conversant with contemporary production processes and print management.
